Originally built in 1904 as a private residence, La Playa was converted and expanded into a hotel in 1916. The charming Mediterranean style hotel surrounds our award-winning gardens where wedding ceremonies are conducted in our wrought iron gazebo.
La Playa is located just two blocks from the beaches of Carmel and most of the Special Event rooms have ocean or garden views.
